Covenant Health System provided a Lunch and Learn opportunity to LCMS and LBMS 8th graders. Students worked with healthcare professionals to learn about heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and temperature. The program encourages students interested in the healthcare field to begin coursework in high school within the Health Science program, which can help them earn a national credential and begin working in the hospital! LCISD will host pre-k and kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year from 12:00-6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 at the LCISD Administrative Offices (13807 Indiana Ave.)! Please enter through Door 5 on the south side of the building, near the LCISD Police Department.
If you are the parent of a soon-to-be pre-k* or kindergarten** student, please visit https://www.lcisd.net/page/prekandkindergartenregistration for information about eligibility, required documents, immunization guidelines, and more!
*LCISD pre-k is open only to students who qualify under one or more of the district's eligibility requirements. For more information about these requirements, visit https://www.lcisd.net/page/pre-k-information.
**Students currently enrolled in LCISD pre-k for the 2023-24 school year will be automatically enrolled in LCISD kindergarten. There is no need to attend registration if your child is a current LCISD pre-k student.
Registration is a parents-only event; we will welcome our newest students at a later date!

TRAFFIC UPDATE: Beginning Monday, March 11, the portion of 114th Street from Indiana Avenue to Memphis Avenue will be closed. The portion of 114th Street from Quaker Avenue to Memphis Avenue will remain open. Traffic will be detoured south to 122nd Street and north to 98th Street.

Six LBMS Robotics teams participated in the TTU STEM Outreach GEAR trial run, where they gained experience and collected many points in preparation for their April competition! Thanks to the Lubbock-Cooper Education Foundation and H-E-B for supporting our robotics program!

Nostalgia and Learning: Immerse yourself in a day of nostalgia as we revisit the past and explore exciting educational opportunities for the future.
Peer-Led Sessions: Learn from your local and national leader as well as fellow educators as they share their expertise and insights.
Activities: Engage in interactive sessions, discussions with other educators from around the area.
Live Music: Enjoy live music during lunch.
