School will be canceled on Friday, November 21 across Lubbock-Cooper ISD to allow the LCP family to travel in support of LCHS and Liberty HS football teams in the Area round of playoffs. All LCISD campuses, offices, and facilities will be closed. As a reminder, the district will also be closed November 24-28 for Thanksgiving Break.
Central Elementary, East Elementary, and West Elementary Thanksgiving lunches originally scheduled for Friday will be moved to Thursday, November 20. These campuses will communicate more information to families. Individual campuses will communicate with parents regarding any other activities originally scheduled for Friday.
The Pirates will play at 3:00pm on Friday at Wildcat Stadium on the Abilene Christian University campus in Abilene. The Patriots will play at 6:00pm on Friday at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene. Ticket information will be shared soon.

LCHS will host the sixth annual NHS Trunk or Treat from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 26 in the LCHS Band parking lot! Admission is free, but students will be accepting cash donations for the South Plains Food Bank or boxed snack donations for Pirate Pantry. #LCPfamily
