Students or staff experiencing a positive COVID-19 case/exposure must isolate/quarantine for five days. If the individual is not experiencing symptoms following this five-day period, the individual may return to school.
The CDC recommends individuals wear facial coverings through day ten.
Students or staff who are exhibiting symptoms following the five-day isolation/quarantine period may not return until they are asymptomatic or until ten full days have passed from the date of diagnosis.
Students or staff exposed to COVID-19 who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 and are not experiencing symptoms are not required to quarantine.
The CDC recommends these individuals wear facial coverings through ten days from the diagnosis of COVID in the household.
