At this time, request for transfers in to Lubbock-Cooper ISD will not be granted, with limited exceptions listed below:

• The children of Lubbock-Cooper ISD full-time employees will be accepted as transfers *(space and instructional staff availability permitting,) free of charge.

• The children of individuals with homes under construction in the district to be completed within ten months will be accepted as transfers*(space and instructional staff availability permitting, free charge.) A contract for the construction of the home must be provided.

• Students accepted as transfers prior to the 2015-2016 school year will remain eligible to attend Lubbock-Cooper*at the same tuition rate charged during his/her prior years in the district.

Transfers are granted for one regular school year at time only, and transfers students must file an application for transfer each school year. To read the policy in full, see FDA(LOCAL) in the LCISD Board Policy Manual.

*The Superintendent is authorized to accept or reject any transfer request.
