These teachers can really "mooo"ve! South Elementary hosted Fuel Up to Play 60 Cow Races, where campus staff raced one another while holding a carton of milk on a spatula (it's not easy)! Ms. Lucero and Mr. Campama raced in the finals, with Mr. Campama taking first place!

Shout-out to the Pirate Baseball team for greeting West Elementary students before Spring Break! To help kick off their Battle of the Books (featuring the book "Baseball Saved Us"), students wore jerseys and hats, and even got to chew bubblegum! ⚾⚾⚾

TxDOT has announced plans to resurface FM 1585 from University Avenue to Highway 87 beginning MONDAY, MARCH 6. TxDOT has said that the project will last one week. During the project, TxDOT has said that traffic will be down to one lane only, and guided daily by pilot car between 9:00am-2:00pm. TxDOT advises drivers to use an alternate route while this project is underway. Please keep this in mind when traveling throughout the district next week.
