January is Texas School Board Recognition Month, and we are grateful for the opportunity to honor the LCISD Board of Trustees! This group guides our district with dedication, integrity, and a love for our students and staff. We think they're the best of the best, and so does the rest of Texas! They were recently named the 2022 Region 17 School Board of the Year AND one of just five 2022 TASA Honor School Boards in the state!
Thank you, LCISD Trustees, for all you do for the LCP family!

Ms. Nichols' South Elementary Pirates are practicing random acts of kindness! They wrote notes of gratitude to Officer Wuensche for always keeping them safe!

Ms. McKay's South Elementary second graders had a collaborative discussion about Dr. Martin Luther King, his life, and his wisdom. They then split into groups and created a timeline of his life. We are so impressed by their knowledge!
