The inaugural Emily Winton Memorial Scholarship Powder Puff Football Championship will be held at 7:00 p.m. TONIGHT, Tuesday, May 12, at Pirate Stadium at First United Park! Featuring the winning Powder Puff teams from Lubbock-Cooper HS and Liberty HS, this event is a celebration of our community, uniting our entire LCP family for a special cause!
All proceeds will benefit the Emily Winton Memorial Scholarship fund, providing support to graduating Pirate and Patriot seniors whose lives have been personally touched by cancer.
The evening promises to be a showcase of cross-district collaboration in addition to a fantastic football game, featuring a special joint spirit performance by students from both schools and a full concession stand. Guests should enter through the southwest gate of Pirate Stadium and sit on the home side.
