LCHS Cosmetology seniors invited 21 children and seven house parents from the Children's Home of Lubbock to their Winter Wonderland event, where they provided participants with free hairstyles, hygiene care packages, school supply backpacks, blankets, and gifts under the Christmas tree! House parents also received special gifts, and the Cosmetology Department was even able to present a $500 donation to the organization! We are so proud of Mr. Whitaker and his Pirates for supporting our community during the season of giving!

The LCISD Transportation Department will host the second annual Stuff the Bus event from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11 at Rosa's Cafe (13011 Indiana Ave.), where they will accept unwrapped toys for students throughout the district and canned food, hygiene products, and jackets for campus Pirate Pantries.
