The LCP family is pleased to welcome the new principal of Lubbock-Cooper East Elementary, Shelbi Eugenis!

Shelbi has served as an Education Specialist at the Region 17 Education Service Center, an ELAR Specialist and Assistant Principal at Frenship ISD, and, most recently, the principal of Levelland ISD's South Elementary.

"I am a champion for students, teachers, and public education," said Shelbi. "I am eager to join the LCP family and the East Elementary team as someone who will encourage students and staff, and I look forward to building strong relationships that support our school community."
We are so pleased Shelbi and her family have chosen to join the Lubbock-Cooper ISD crew!

LBMS FFA members volunteered at the South Plains Food Bank GRUB Farm for their FFA Day of Service! They buried a new drip irrigation line, planted pollinator flowers, and pulled weeds to prepare for the growing season. These selfless FFA members truly embodied the FFA Motto: "Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve!"
